Our mission is to address the unsustainable nature of ceramic materials, which generate 19 million tonnes of CO₂ annually in Europe alone.
We've developed a bio-based alternative to ceramic tiles with a 94% lower carbon footprint.​ Our tiles can also have a recycled material content of over 95%.
We achieve this through bioinspired design engineering: learning from natural materials such as spider silk, tooth enamel and pearl, we produce biopolymer-mineral hybrid materials quickly and efficiently.
