Our process begins with waste wood from trees felled in Britain. This wood is usually discarded but we have worked to create a new circular economy for it. First we cut each piece into strips using the band saw, followed by our efficient chipping machine that further breaks them into smaller fragments. The chips then get hand-sorted to make sure there aren’t any oversized pieces.
We use every part of the timber, from heartwood all the way through to the bark, which makes every sheet unique and packed with detail.
