Manage Spaces
Keep useful information about your locations and installed assets.
Before You Start
Have the space name, address, and the contact responsible for maintaining its information.
What To Do
- Open Organize and go to My Spaces. Use the available space creation option.
- Enter the requested details. Use a recognizable name, such as “Oak Street Store,” and check the address.
- Choose a consistent way to identify areas or rooms if your setup supports them. Use names your team already recognizes.
- Save and reopen the space to check that the details are correct.
- Start with a small set of useful records, such as key equipment, supplier contacts, and warranties. Add further details as you verify them.
Check Your Result
Your location has an identifiable record and a practical starting set of information.
If You Need Help
Several branches have similar names? Include a location or branch reference. If a space already exists, ask for access rather than adding a duplicate.

Before you start
Gather the item name, location, manufacturer or supplier, and any warranty or purchase records.
What to do
- Open the relevant space and locate the asset records area. Use the available option to add or edit an asset.
- Identify the item clearly. Include its location, model, and serial number where available.
- Add the supplier or service contact and the installation or purchase date when known. Leave uncertain details clearly marked as unknown.
- Attach or reference the warranty and care instructions using the available record fields.
- Record the warranty start and end dates from the actual terms. Do not assume that the invoice date is the warranty start date.
- Save and reopen the record. Check that the document and service contact can be found when needed.
Check Your Result
Your team can identify the asset and find its supporting information.
If You Need Help
No warranty document? Request it from the supplier and note that it is outstanding. A recorded warranty date does not by itself confirm coverage for a particular fault.
