Impact And Reporting
Prepare clear records and supporting evidence for reporting.
Before You Start
Choose the space or project and the time period you want to review.
What To Do
- Define the scope: which location, activity, and dates the records cover. Keep this consistent across your evidence.
- Gather available supporting information, such as material records, utility bills, maintenance logs, transport details, or waste records relevant to that scope.
- For each record, note its source, date range, unit, and the person who can answer questions about it.
- Keep measured values separate from estimates. Explain the method and assumptions for any estimate.
- Identify missing periods, duplicate records, and inconsistent units before entering or organizing the information in the available Impact workflow.
- Keep the supporting documents connected to the values or statements they support.
Check Your Result
You have a traceable set of inputs and a visible list of gaps.
If You Need Help
Some data is missing? Mark it as unavailable or estimated, with an explanation. A missing value should not automatically become zero.

Before you start
Have the report or summary and its source records available for comparison.
What to do
- Check the entity, location, reporting period, and scope shown in the output.
- Compare reported values with their supporting records. Check units, date ranges, and duplicate entries.
- Review missing data, estimates, and assumptions. Make sure the output does not present incomplete information as a complete measured result.
- Check that each improvement claim has a clear comparison period or baseline and supporting evidence.
- Remove information the intended recipient should not receive. Use the sharing or export options available to your account.
- Have the responsible person review the final version before external use. Retain the version shared and the records used to prepare it.

The recipient can understand the scope, evidence, and limitations of the information.
If You Need Help
A value looks wrong? Return to the source record and resolve the discrepancy before sharing. If the output still differs from the verified input, contact Support with the relevant non-sensitive details.
